.. a regional service to assist African immigrants
settle in the United States and find Christian
fellowship in the Free Methodist Church

Join us as we network, partner and work together with Free Methodist churches, community agencies and other local churches in this region who have a passion and desire to help the African immigrants in their transitioning process.

THE MINISTRY OF THE AFRICAN IMMIGRANTS MINISTRIES (AIM) IS DESIGNED TO:

  • Meet with Free Methodist churches who want to work together in helping with the needs of the African immigrants in their Conferences, communities and churches.
  • Help our Free Methodist churches connect and work with resettlement services and provide counseling and resources to assist.
  • Provide training for FMCs that desire to work and partner with the African Immigrants Ministries.
  • Work with superintendents in the Mid-west region in coordinating efforts to reach out to more African immigrants to help them connect with the FMCs and explore the possibilities of planting African churches, campuses and networks.
  • To work with Conferences in Africa with their bishops to help us to become aware of immigrants who will be arriving to the USA and to inform us of the FMC ordained ministers who are in good standing in their Conferences.
  • Help maintain refugee records and seek and recruit volunteers.
  • Provide translation services whenever necessary.
