Why John Wesley?
Pastor Kenny and I are a team. Where the Lord leads him, I will follow and serve the Lord and all of His people with gladness. Each time God has called him to a new field of ministry, my spirit bears witness and I have an ear to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to us as a family. Together, we both have a love and a passion to be a part of what God is doing to build a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, intergenerational church right here at John Wesley.
Music and Books
I enjoy and appreciate reading books by African-American authors and I like devotional books. I am in my car a lot so I also love to check out the audiobooks from the library and listen to Christian romance novels and African-American history. I prefer listening to gospel, praise and worship, and contemporary Christian music, too. On road trips, I like to listen to classical music and R & B oldies but goodies.
